Fishing water on your doorstep

Villapark Weddermeer has its own beautiful fishing water available for park guests. Every year new fish are released here, including carp, predatory bleak and roach. Throw out your fishing rod from your own jetty, enjoy the tranquility of the waterfront and experience the convenience of fishing right at your vacation home.

A fishing license is not required at the park if you book a vacation with us.

 

Hiking, biking or canoeing

From the park you step right into nature. Explore wooded trails, quaint surrounding villages and places of interest. With an extensive number of hiking and cycling routes, every day is a new adventure. Various walking and cycling routes are available at the reception desk. No bicycle with you? Tour bikes and e-bikes are available for rent at the reception. E-bikes must be reserved 24 hours in advance.

It is also possible to explore the surroundings by canoe (1 person) or Canadian (3 persons). We also have a route map available for this.

 

 

Karpervissen at Weddermeer

Curious about the great Weddermeer? The Weddermeer has a large number of fish in the water with the main group being the Carp. If you would like to fish here during your stay, you will receive a 50% discount on a fishing spot. Fun fact: Since 1997 there has been a catfish swimming in the Weddermeer and it has never been caught until October 2023! The catfish is now 1.82 cm long and weighs 30 KG. Good to know:

-In low season the pool has limited opening hours due to swimming lessons.

-Have you booked accommodation with us and arrive later than 17:00? Then we can leave the key outside in a safe for you if the payment is complete.
Please inform us in advance so we can give you further instructions and a personal code for the locker.

-Would you like to leave your accommodation earlier and the reception is closed? No problem, you can deposit the key in the mailbox at the reception.

-Reception is open daily from 9:00 to 17:00. On Monday and Friday the reception is open from 9:00 to 19:00.

-Restaurant Pavilion is open from Friday to Monday for taking away French fries and snacks. On other days the restaurant is closed.

Thursday: 10:00 – 14:30

Friday: 10:00 – 13:00

Saturday: 12:00 – 17:00
